Took my GTR to SVM and it has literally been off the road more than on.
Paid to have full engine and gearbox build and the gearbox has failed time and time again.
Vehicle sent back to me on more than one occasion without issue resolution.
The last attempt at a fix was to mask the gearbox problem by reducing torque / power in areas of the map where gearbox issues were evident.
Car has since been sent to another tuner and upon inspection found that the workmanship at SVM was shoddy and that is being charitable.
I don't think I would trust them with performing an MOT correctly, forget tuning GTR's.

Took my Canam Ryker 900 to these guys for MOT today, as no other garage had a clue what to do with it. They were brilliant, very knowledgeable regarding the brand and respectful with my vehicle. Friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them to people who love their cars or bikes.......Thankyou.

Top guys who really know their stuff. Any issues they find are thoroughly explained and with one of the issues on my car, they fixed it quicker than expected and so reduced the charge, can't be fairer than that. I would not take my Nissan GTR anywhere else

Had my GTR go to SVM for their stage 1 package, full service, gearbox and diff oils change, alignment. I’ve been to meet the team in person prior, very nice genuine chaps. My car was collected within 24hrs in their enclosed trailer and progress updates started coming in the very next morning. Great customer service and kept me in the loop throughout the whole work. Highly recommend, my GTR will be going nowhere else 😬🙏

Hi I took my sons fiesta red edition in for a problem of over fueling and they got on to it straightaway. After ordering a part from a local ford dealer they fitted it and runs like a new car. SVM's diagnosis was spot on. Thanks SVM top marks. SI.

Despite current covid restrictions staff very friendly and efficient. Work done on time and on budget. If you have a car or a van that needs work or an MOT this is the place to go to, highly recommended.

Absolutely disgraceful.. They don´t even deserve a star. And they dare to call themselves a car tuner? After two years of major problems have resorted to taking MY GTR to another garage, and have found out the real truth about their work and my so called 1200R build..They are lucky to get off with a scolding and without legal action. Please read the forums to hear the real truth.. missing bolts, insecure fuel regulators + collectors, poor quality wiring and missing brackets, bare wiring seen and fixed by hand under leaking fuel system (fire hazard), front diff with no oil and completely damaged, injector wiring broken, inappropriate battery cabling, pieces of debris in air filters and in fuel housing, standard fuel pumps instead of upgraded SVM pumps, hole in grommet repaired manually, cardboard used to hold throttle body electrical plug clips, cover missing from relay/fuse box hence damp fuses, etc, etc, etc STAY WELL AWAY

Excellent service from the SVM Team. Visit the workshop at very short notice for the health check. The guys found out few issues with my GTR, which has been repaired at no time! Their knowledge is second to none! Superb service at reasonable prices. The car performs like never before!

I rang them to check what they'd quote us on labour to service a GTR R35, 'Joe' was suppose to call me back on THREE different occasions but yet failed to do so. I rang back the fourth time and manager answered the call saying "HA NO CHANCE" 'NO WE CAN'T USE YOUR PARTS, THEY HAVE TO BE SUPPLIED BY US INCASE ANYTHING HAPPENS TO YOUR CAR DUE TO THE PARTS BEING DODGY' lol and I told him that they're NISSAN DEALERSHIP parts with invoices. So they want to charge more than double for the same parts that NISSAN themselves sell for cheaper, yes its business at the end of the day but do not take me for a mug mate & try charge more than double just for the parts. So to save us arguing, I said that's fine can I just book my car in for a service & you can supply the parts (only reason I wanted to go ahead was because they were giving me a booking date in 2 days), I was told that they will call me back within an hour, never heard from them again. Called Litchfield & their customer service was 10x better, the guy on the phone was polite & very helpful but I couldn't book the car due to 2 weeks waiting, needed it serviced asap as selling it in few days. Same day, dropped my car to a local indy and got my R35 serviced paid £100 for labour (thats fuel money lol) + stamped Trust me on this, I own 2 GTR's, you DO NOT NEED TO GO TO THESE GUYS for servicing, they will mug you off. Their customer service sucks and staff has attitude. 7 Years ago my car was TUNED by these guys on 650R, yes you give credits where it's due but recently their customer service sucks with lack of knowledge & consistency, I think they need to pipe down they're not a ferrari dealership lol I guess my two GTRs will never see SVM ever again along with my pals with their GTRs who witnessed it all. For tuning = yes (although MGT motorsport 650R map seems better on my other r35). But servicing NO never, it's easy to service them, just use any specialist local to you, NISSAN parts are cheap from dealership, trust me on that. Rest is up to you, either pay £1500-£2000 for a major service + extras or pay £500-£700 for the same thing.
